This is an original horse head painting of a horse called Sparky. Sparky was a much-loved eventer who had been with his owner for more than 15 years. My mother half loaned Sparky and she said that he was the best horse which she had ever ridden. He was an absolute gentleman, such a kind loving horse who just kept on giving.  Sadly Sparky was put down at the end of 2017 and my mother and the owner were absolutely heartbroken. My mum asked me to paint a piece of horse artwork featuring him to give as a horse gift to the owner. I spent a few weeks capturing this horse portrait of him. My mum and the owner were thrilled with this art commissions of him. This horse print has also become one of my most popular online equine prints. I love the fact that Sparkies memory lives on through horse decor throughout equestrian homes worldwide.
